Title: Twenty One Pilots
Intro: The amount of things
I care about, will always end in a three-way-tie between literature, art (as in
paintings), and music. Technically, all this could be considered art, but we
won’t talk about that. Since, I’m quite sure none of you want me to geek out
about Van Gogh, I am going to talk about music. Much more precisely, Twenty One
Pilots. I know they aren’t Radio Head, but it’s whatever.
1.
Twenty One Pilots, is a duo band
A. Tyler
Joseph, creator, is twenty-five, refused a basketball scholarship and started
the band. He plays piano, ukulele… etc.
B. Josh
Dun, drummer, is twenty-six, previously the live drummer of House of Heroes.
2.
History
A. Began
in 2009, with high school friends, Nick Thomas and Chris Salih
B. After
some years, Nick and Chris left in 2011
C. The
band’s name came to Tyler after he studied the play All My Sons, by Arthur
Miller
3.
Found
A. I
discovered T.O.P around the same time Josh did.
B. House
of Gold, hated them a little bit.
C. Realization
of amazing music, forcing it down my mother throat.
Conclusion: So, that is my
favorite band. I’ve told you everything about them that interests me, or that I
feel you should know about them, because to a certain extent the more you know
about them the more you know about me. We might be in the process of replacing
our friends and family with each other, but I’m sure you don’t really want to
listen to me talk all day. So, for an ending.
